Streaming Is My Saviour
When will the DVD die? According to Netflix, in their letter to investors, it’s already dead.
Netflix is now focusing its business on its streaming service. This service is available on a host of devices from iPhones to TVs and everything in between. The company had a great Q1 but Q2 is predicted as being less attractive as it must pay for premium content from providers. Don’t let that stop you from using the service though. Netflix streaming service is executed very well. I’ve got several movies in my queue ready to watch from a plethora of devices. The reason it works is because it is a product that people are interested in and the app is easy to use. This is a perfect synergy.
I prefer to stream my movies… even if they may not always be new releases. There is so much content to watch. You won’t get bored on netflix. I find no need to order DVDs anymore. In addition, many of the streaming movies are in HD, which looks great on a 52″ HD TV.
The ease of use of Netflix streaming service and its ever increasing catalog of content make this app a winner. DVDs will die and streaming will reign. Make sure you have a high speed Internet connection. Content and ease of use make this app a winner. You should keep this in mind for your projects.
